This profound concept calls us to reflect the unity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in our own lives. In John 17:20-23, Jesus prays for oneness among His followers, mirroring His unity with the Father, as He states in John 10:30. Colossians 1:13-20 reveals that when we see Jesus, we see the invisible God. The Holy Spirit, as mentioned in 1 Corinthians 2:10-11, reveals God’s mind and thoughts to us. Salvation brings us into this unity. Colossians 1:25-27 speaks of the mystery of Christ in us, the hope of glory. We are sojourners, citizens of Heaven, called to set our minds on things above (Colossians 3:1-4). Marriage illustrates this oneness. Matthew 19:4-6 describes two becoming one. Unity is not about uniformity; it’s about embracing differences. Revelation 19:7-8 speaks of the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, a celebration of this divine unity. In my own marriage, I learned that unity required transformation—a vision of two clay vessels becoming one golden vessel in the fire. God seeks hearts wholly devoted to Him (2 Chronicles 16:9), and He heals and purifies our motives (Isaiah 61:1-2). Our treasures reflect our hearts (Matthew 6:21). As we give to God, He gives back, pressed down and overflowing (Luke 6:38). Let’s strive for unity and let our hearts be fully His. Thank you for joining me today on "The Gates of Heaven."
